We are open year round for
willow
basket sales. Check out the baskets we have
in stock here. Open most days about 10am to
6pm. If you are coming a distance, it is advisable
to email or phone ahead. Willow
cuttings will be available in the spring. You can pick
up your order at the farm and see the willow beds here at
Dunbar Gardens.
We are open Friday, Saturday, &
Sunday, 10am to 6pm for produce sales. July 3: We have
basil, zucchini, sugar snap peas, mixed lettuces, arugula,
chard, beets, baby boc choy, nappa cabbage, artichokes, and
broccoli.
Our garden fresh produce is available seasonally. We have a
nice selection of apples including Akane, Burgundy, Melrose,
Karmijn de Sonnaville, Ashmead's Kernel, Spartan, Bramley,
and Alkemene; as well as a wide variety of vegetables like
lettuce, beans, squash, cucumbers, broccoli, carrots, beets,
onions, potatoes, sweet corn, eggplant, peppers, tomatoes,
cannellini beans, fennel, radicchio, and basil all grown
here. We have been growing using organic methods since we
began farming in 1982. We have been growing here at Dunbar
Gardens in the Skagit Valley since 1994.
Buy local, buy green, buy
higher quality, buy less. Our willow is grown in an
environmentally friendly way; our baskets are handcrafted to
be durable and aesthetically pleasing.
Like many "green goods" our baskets may be a more expensive
purchase initially, but you are getting something that will
last a lifetime while supporting the work of a local
craftsman and farmer.
